Cadbury, the world’s largest confectionery manufacturer, is recalling 11 products that are produced in China due to contamination with melamine, an industrial chemical which has sickened thousands of Chinese children and was previously responsible for the world-wide pet food scare. The recalled chocolates are only being sold in Asia and does not affect other parts of the world. The countries affected include Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Nauru and Christmas Island. With all the previous products imported from China why on earth
do we continue to import items from thatr country. Cheap is not everything for the safety of our children and all this lead stuff.
Americas “DO NOT BUY MADE IN CHINA” and buy American goods. The
big retailers import from China a make money. How many recalls
have you heard or been involved in the past. I have not because
we do not by items made in China. Read the labels folks!!!!

This is a difficult issue – just because the label states where the products are produced, we do not know where the ingredients come from.

I’m sick and tired of companies out sourcing manufacturing jobs to other countries and these kinds of problems seem to be happening everyday!! I beleive these companies are thinking only about their profits and not the quality of the product or the safety of the consumer!!! Do these companies not have control over the production of their own product even if it is made in China??

How STUPID are we here in America to continue to buy products made in CHINA?! They have tried to kill our animals, put lead in our children’s toys, and did any of you notice the one or two times it was mentioned that 40% of our medicines are made in China? I saw it mentioned once or twice that a few people had died from substances added to heart medications. One man lost his wife AND his son because of that. I care about the animals, but I DO NOT UNDERSTAND why we all heard about the pet food being contaminated for weeks and weeks and I heard about the medicine being contaminated only twice. WHY ARE WE IN AMERICA ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN?! If you remember, Ross Perot told us several years ago that if we passed the trade agreement our factories and companies would move to China and Mexico. NO one believed him and now look at the mess we are in. We owe China trillions of dollars and they own us. What would we do if China decided to be our enemy? We couldn’t even produce the uniforms and boots for our soldiers.
My husband and I drive all over the city looking for Made in America products. Yes, it takes more time and some more money but it is definitely worth it! Everytime we buy an American product or food we feel like we are putting money in the hands of an American family.
Guess who started all of the products being made in China? You guessed it, Wal-Marts. Fifteen years ago Wal-Marts was advertising that they bought and then sold products MADE IN AMERICA. Then, after they got everyone buying at Wal-Mart’s they slowly changed where they bought their items to China. Why don’t we as Americans start a campaign to buy American products? Voice your concerns to the stores where you shop and write letters to your Congressmen. Thank the manager of the store when you find American made products. IF we will ALL speak up and start complaining and asking for American products we can turn this around again. Let’s put Americans back to work and make our country secure physically and financially again! Oh, by the way, I just read a notice that a woman in India just threathened to sell the medical records of 30,000 Americans if she was not paid enough. Did you know your medical records and financial records are going to foreign countries? Let’s all stop this nonsense. This is criminal! We must all be willing to speak up and speak loudly! Thanks for giving me a place to voice my concerns.

America “WAKE UP” we should only buy products ‘MADE IN USA’, EVEN THEN CAN WE BE SURE OF ORIGINS! When I shop, I look to see where product was made, if it says made in China, it goes back on shelf. We need to stop companies from going south of the border..and overseas…AMERICANS NEED THESE JOBS.Companies are only interested in ‘PROFIT’ BOTTOM AND ONLY LINE! Make these companies who have moved across the borders, across the world, etc.,move back into the USA, IF THEY WANT TO SELL THEIR PRODUCTS HERE, THEY MUST RETURN AND ESTABLISHE THEIR COMPANIES ON US SOIL…

we people, are made to take care of the others and not to harm them, so if you are doing something just for your own profit, then please make sure that nobody is being harmed……
